Welcome!

Oaklands Pool Association is a member-owned pool located between Rodney and Dickinson dormitories on Hillside Road in Newark, Delaware. Oaklands is a community pool and anyone can become a pool member.  We are a very social pool with a great swim team. We would love to have your family join us and participate in both pool and team activities.

Open every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day, from noon to 9:00 PM, we are staffed by knowledgeable pool managers, certified lifeguards, and certified pool operators.

Oaklands Pool is a 25-yard, 5-lane pool with a diving area and a separate kiddie pool. A private parking lot is adjacent to the pool. Our spacious lawn area, volleyball court, swing set, soccer goal and basketball hoops are all located within the pool fence.

The 2010 Season is coming!  Members, join us at Friendly's Restaurant on 896 for a night out with you Summer Friends, March 25th, 5-8pm for an Oaklands Pool fundraiser.  Bring your friends!

The Oaklands Swim Team had a fantastic year in 2009 and we look forward to more in 2010. Our team, the Oaklands Slugs, includes swimmers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels!  The Swim Team is a member of the Suburban Swim League (SSL) (www.sslswim.org).
