Oaklands is a member owned pool located between Rodney and Dickinson dorms on Hillside Avenue in Newark, Delaware.  Oaklands is a community pool and anyone can become a pool member.  We are a very social pool with a great swim team.  We would love to have your family join us and participate in both pool and team activities.

Open every day from May 24, 2008 through September 1, 2008, 12:00pm - 9:00pm, we are staffed by knowledgeable pool managers, certified lifeguards, and certified pool operators.

Oaklands is a 25 yard, 5 lane pool with diving area and separate kiddie pool.  Private parking is adjacent to pool.  Our spacious lawn area, volleyball court, swing set and basketball hoops are all located within the pool gates.

The Oaklands Swim Team, had a great year in 2007 and we look forward to more in '08.  Our team, the Oaklands Slugs, includes swimmers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels!  The Swim Team is also a member of Suburban Swim League (SSL) (www.sslswim.org).
