Stop by Jake's Way Back Burgers (250 South Main Street (formerly Elkton Road) in the Rittenhouse Square building on Saturday between noon and 4pm and help our pool! This is our second fund raiser (the first was very successful) and it is a great way to get some good food while helping raise funds for our pool! Grab a burger before, during, or after our volunteer work session, or just stop by sometime between noon and 4pm Saturday and grab a quick lunch or early dinner. |

Come out and enjoy some exercise and fun this Saturday and/or Sunday and help us get our pool ready for the season! Volunteer Days schedule: Saturday, April 20th, 9am-3pm ** Also, the 20th is our Fund Raiser at Jake's Way Back Burgers from noon-5pm! Sunday, April 21, noon-5pm Saturday, May 4th, 9am-3pm Sunday, May 5th, noon-5pm We'll have a list of things to do that range from gardening to painting. Come on out and have some fun! |

Oaklands Swim Club is open noon to 9pm from Saturday May 25th through Monday Sept 2nd (Labor Day), with the following exceptions and notes:

The lap lane is available for lap swimming from noon to 1pm, and from 6 to 9pm. At the discretion of the guard staff, the lane is generally left open all day if the pool is not too crowded. One notable time that the lane is not available is during afternoon swim team practices.

We are now accepting applications for summer 2013 lifeguard and assistant manager positions! Please see descriptions at the bottom of this page for assistant manager and Lifeguard. Then fill out the application.
Please email your completed application and certification copies to info@oaklandspool.com by March 31, 2013. If you don't have access to a scanner, you can mail in your materials to the address inside the application. |

If you are looking for something new to try this summer or looking for an activity that will help strengthen, relax and create more space in your life, then sign up for yoga at Oaklands Pool! Yoga will help strengthen your muscles and enhance flexibility, but most importantly it will help you enjoy all the activities you want to enjoy this summer. If you run, swim, walk, play a sport or play with your kids, it will help bring balance to your body and your life.
Who: Any member or guest of Oaklands Swim Club, any level of Yoga experience When: Mondays 7:30 - 8:30pm, July 11 - August 22 (7 weeks) Where: At Oaklands Pool, on the grass Bring: Water, towel or yoga mat recommended, cash or check for $60 made out to Jill Reed Cost: $60 paid in full on first day
The teacher, Jill Reed, is a certified Yoga instructor at Empowered Yoga.
We need 8 people to sign up in order to hold the class so be daring and try something new this summer! |
