Welcome to the Oaklands Swim Club!

Now accepting memberships for 2013
The Oaklands Swim Club in downtown Newark, Delaware, is a member owned community pool and social club. Anyone can become a member! The club is open every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day, from noon to 9:00 pm, and is staffed by knowledgeable pool managers, certified lifeguards, and certified pool operators. 

The main pool consists of a 25-yard, 5-lane pool and a diving area. There's a separate kiddie pool, a full bath house, and several recreational and convenience amenities.

We are a very social club with a calendar of social events for both kids and adults.  Scheduled movie and raft nights, our annual luau, a camp out/sleepover, and band nights are just a few of the fun reasons to join our pool.  

The Oaklands Swim Team, a.k.a. The Slugs, is a member of the Suburban Swim League (SSL).  In 2013, we welcome Adam Braun as our new pool manager and head swim coach.  Adam was the Aquatics Director at the Western YMCA and is now an assistant coach for Drexel University's men's and women's swim teams.  The Slugs include swimmers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels, and we have openings and opportunities for your swimmers!
